Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Certified EKG Technician (CET) certification required.
• Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) certification preferred.
• 12 Lead EKG class preferred.

Responsibilities

• Documents pertinent information regarding clinical and monitoring results in the patient record.
• Coordinates with cardio staff and physicians to respond to and initiate timely cardio care.
• Performs stress tests, Holter monitoring, and peripheral vascular testing as needed.
• Maintains crash cart, supplies and equipment; ensures proper function.
• Assists in budgeting and financial processes as needed.
