Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a cardiac, telemetry, cardiovascular, or related healthcare setting.
  • Must successfully complete treadmill training within six months of hire.
  • Must successfully complete Basic Arrhythmia course within two attempts.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality electrocardiograms (EKGs) for adult and pediatric patients.
  • Operate ECG equipment and document results in MUSE and Epic systems.
  • Enroll patients in ambulatory cardiac monitoring and provide education on Holter and event monitors.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot ECG equipment and ensure readiness of department gear.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support patient care and safety.
