Job summary

BayCare Health System in the Tampa Bay area seeks an Exercise Physiologist to join the Cardiac Rehab team at Morton Plant North Bay. The role focuses on cardio-pulmonary services and leadership of exercise programs within a large rehab network.

PRN schedule with daytime hours; requires Bachelor's in Exercise Physiology or related field, BLS, and preferred ACSM-CES/ACLS; two years of cardiac rehab experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or related field.
• BLS certification required; ACSM-CES and ACLS preferred.
• 2 years cardiac rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs cardio-pulmonary services as part of the rehab team.
• Leads development and leadership of exercise programs for cardio-pulmonary patients.
• Evaluates patients and supervises treatment plans; stays current in approaches and prescriptions.
• Acts as a preceptor for exercise interns and provides staff and patient education.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology; OR Bachelor's in Related Field

Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology
