Novant Health's Scotts Hill Medical Center in Wilmington, NC seeks a full-time Exercise Physiologist to lead patients in all disciplines of Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation, following current policies and procedures with emphasis on cardiac and pulmonary health as it relates to exercise.

You will formulate and modify exercise prescriptions based on medical history and special needs; collaborate with nurses and physicians; schedule Monday–Friday 7a-3p; no weekends or holidays.

Formación

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree required. BS in Exercise Physiology or exercise related field required.
• Experience: 1 year rehab experience as an Exercise Physiologist, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Progressing toward ACSM exercise related certification within 1 year, required.
• Additional Skills: Knowledge of cardiac & respiratory care, data interpretation, team collaboration, and communication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead patients in all disciplines of Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
• Formulate and modify exercise prescriptions based on medical history and needs.
• Supervise and monitor patients during exercise with RN/physician collaboration.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, physicians and staff.
