Zusammenfassung

UAB Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse to work with nursing leadership, directing nursing service activities for a shift and providing professional care to patients in the assigned unit. You will support coordination of patient care, staff management, and collaboration with physicians and inter-disciplinary teams.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Nursing with state licensure eligibility, BLS certification, and ACLS within six months; PALS may be required depending on the patient

Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree in Nursing with 18 months of related experience required.
• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• BLS from the American Heart Association required or to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification from the AHA required within six months from date of hire.
• PALS certification may be required within six months from date of hire depending on unit/age of patients.

Aufgaben

• Direct nursing service activities in the assigned care unit for the duration of one shift or in the absence of the Nurse Manager.
• Provide professional nursing care for patients in the assigned unit.
• Support nursing leadership in coordinating patient care, personnel management, physician/interdisciplinary collaboration and administrative duties.
