Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and three years of clinical nursing experience, OR Associate's degree in Nursing and five years of clinical nursing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed as an RN by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required depending on unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Manage the plan of care for a caseload of patients with 24-hour responsibility.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff and other health professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes.
