Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Research Coordinator to coordinate sponsored clinical trials, assist physicians and research teams, and ensure protocol adherence across sites. The role involves study start-up, IRB submissions, patient recruitment and data collection in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in biology, health science, nursing, or related field, plus 2+ years of research experience and strong knowledge of GCP/ICH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, health science, nursing or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in research coordination.
• Knowledge of GCP/ICH and FDA guidance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sponsored clinical trials and biospecimen studies with physicians and staff.
• Manage study start-up, IRB submissions, recruitment and enrollment.
• Develop and implement education plans to disseminate protocol information.
• Ensure proper specimen procurement, processing and shipment.
• Serve as primary contact for sponsors and investigators across sites.
• Mentor research staff and provide training/orientation.
• Maintain competency in research software; attend meetings and committees.
• Support nursing activities and scientific coordination as needed.
