McLaren Health Care is seeking a Nursing Assistant in the Cardio Vascular department. Work hours are 7a-7p with a day shift, and the role supports nursing staff in delivering patient care per care plans and hospital policies.

Responsibilities include ambulation, repositioning, hygiene assistance, data collection, and basic glucose testing. Prior six-month nursing assistant experience is preferred; multiple education paths are listed as acceptable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Formal nursing assistant education options listed are acceptable.
• Direct patient care experience preferred when possible.

Responsabilités

• Provides routine patient care services such as call light response; ambulating, transferring, and positioning; personal hygiene assistance, prescribed bowel and bladder program assistance, etc.
• Collects, records, and reports various patient data.Reports changes in patient condition.
• Performs surgical skin preps, basic skin care procedures, bedside finger stick blood sugars, and quality control checks of blood glucose instruments.
