Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking an Ambulatory Care Nurse (FGP) for the Manhattan, Medicine-Cardio site. The role supports coordination, integration, communication, implementation and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies and procedures.

The nurse will participate in quality and performance improvement activities, collect patient health data using appropriate assessment techniques, and collaborate with licensed providers to develop patient-centered plans of care.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; if hired after 9/1/25: Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required with a minimum of two years nursing experience.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Collects patient health history.
• Records information in electronic health record.
• Administers medications and provides wound care.
• Directs and delegates to licensed staff to support patient flow and efficiency.
• Supports coordination of nursing practice and clinical policies.
