NYU Langone Health in New York City seeks an Ambulatory Care Nurse (FGP) to support coordination, communication, and evaluation of nursing practices and clinical policies. You will work with licensed providers to develop patient-centered plans and deliver comprehensive care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a NY RN license, BLS, and a minimum of two years of nursing experience. ACLS is preferred, with benefits and a generous time-off program for a full-time daytime schedule.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; an Associate Degree may be considered with conditions.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience in relevant ambulatory/clinical setting.

About This Role

The Ambulatory Care Nurse (FGP) - Manhattan will support the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse looking to provide comprehensive care and collaborate with licensed providers to develop patient-centered plans.

What You'll Do

• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
• Collect patient health history
• Record information in electronic health record
• Provide information, counsel, and education to patients and families regarding test results and treatment plans
• Administer medications, provide comprehensive wound care, and perform patient triage
• Assess and monitor patient responses to treatments and procedures
• Consult with clinical supervisors and licensed providers to determine treatment plans
• Direct, supervise, and delegate to licensed practical nurses and medical assistants
• Support the coordination and implementation of nursing practice and clinical policies
• Participate in clinical inquiry and activities to foster evidence-based practice

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required (Associate Degree may be approved with conditions)

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in applicable area

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current Registered Professional Nurse License in New York
• Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification preferred
