Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a diagnostic ultrasound technician to perform cardiac and vascular exams under physician supervision at a Denver hospital. You will prepare patients, operate ultrasound equipment, and ensure safety and comfort during procedures.

Key responsibilities include conducting exams, educating patients, documenting results, maintaining equipment, and mentoring colleagues. The role requires ARDMS/CCI or equivalent, BLS, and strong communication and time management

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Proficiency in sonography, digital tools, clinical care, and time management is required.
• Strong communication, risk management, and patient instructional skills are important.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform and prioritize ultrasound exams following protocols.
• Educate patients, coordinate with medical staff, and document results accurately.
• Maintain equipment, work area, and supplies; support quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor colleagues and students, and participate in educational activities.
• Support patient care by communicating effectively and ensuring safety.
