Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a skilled ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular exams and support physicians in patient diagnosis under supervision.

You will execute ultrasound protocols, educate patients for exams, and coordinate with medical staff to ensure safety and comfort. The role includes documenting results, maintaining equipment, mentoring staff, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification.
• Proficiency in sonography, digital tools, clinical care, and patient instruction.

Responsibilities

• Execute ultrasound protocols with technical proficiency.
• Schedule, prepare, and educate patients for exams, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Coordinate with medical staff and communicate patient needs throughout procedures.
• Document results accurately, apply appropriate charge codes, and maintain equipment and work area.
• Mentor team members and students, support quality improvement initiatives, and participate in ongoing education.
