• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma; RN license in state of employment
• BLS required; ACLS within 6 months of hire
• NIHSS within 6 months of hire
• Physical requirements: medium work; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and intervene for optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement plan of care with interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, specimen collection.
• Maintain patient charts accurately and use IT to support decisions.
• Promote patient health and safety; protect patient rights.
• Provide patient/family education and assess learning readiness.
