MelroseWakefield Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Nursing Support on a 28-bed cardiac unit in Melrose, MA. You will provide professional and nonprofessional care under RN supervision, perform routine patient care, and support unit operations on 12-hour shifts.

The role emphasizes documentation, patient observation, infection control, and collaboration with the care team. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and BLS; preferred candidates have healthcare experience and CNA

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification.
• Four years healthcare experience preferred.
• Certified nursing assistant or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including hygiene, vitals, and mobility.
• Documents according to procedure and communicates with RN.
• Assists with feeding and nutrition support.
• Sets up and assists with treatments and procedures.
• Performs 12-lead EKG and notes findings.
• Participates in hourly rounding and infection control.
