MelroseWakefield Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a nursing assistant to provide direct patient care under RN supervision and support the unit's flow of care. You will assist with hygiene, mobility, and documentation while following policies and standards.

Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma and BLS certification; four years of healthcare experience and certified nursing assistant credentials are preferred. This role emphasizes patient safety and teamwork within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Four years of healthcare experience and nursing service experience.
• Certified patient care / clinical associate / certified nursing assistant or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct care for patients including personal hygiene, elimination, catheter care, vital signs, and mobility.
• Documents according to procedure.
• Cooperates with healthcare team to achieve departmental objectives and maintain relations.
• Sets up equipment for and assists with treatments, dressings, tests, etc.
• Performs 12 lead EKG and reports results to RN/physician.
• Obtains, labels, and transports specimens per policy.
• Completes annual point of care testing.
• Participates in hourly rounding.
• Notifies RN of changes in patient condition.
• Maintains infection control precautions.
