Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology and equipment preferred.
• CNA preferred and maintains required competencies and certifications.
• ND: must be on Nurse Aide Registry after training, or within four months.
• WI: must be on Nurse Aide Registry or be a student nurse with relevant coursework.

Responsibilities

• Record vital statistics and basic health information.
• Administer basic healthcare and daily living assistance (dressing, bathing, grooming, meals, etc.).
• Clean patient areas and treatment rooms.
• Collect non-invasive specimens from patients.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas and equipment; dispose of waste.
• Perform scheduling and documentation tasks; communicate with care team.
• Demonstrate strong communication, customer service, multi-tasking, and organization daily.
