Job summary

Akumin is hiring a Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist for part-time roles at the Trinity and Boot Ranch facilities. You will perform specialized diagnostic ultrasound exams, verify orders, work with PACS/DICOM, and ensure HIPAA-compliant patient data handling.

Qualifications

Registered in Echocardiography Ultrasound (RCS) by CCI or ARDMS (RDCS).
BLS certification.
2–3 years of cardiovascular imaging experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic echocardiography using high-frequency ultrasound as ordered by physicians.
Maintain a clean, safe workspace and uphold company policies.
Demonstrate competency with US equipment, sterile technique, PACS, DICOM, and EMR systems.
Prepare and transport patients with necessary paperwork; participate in meetings and ongoing education.
Ensure confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA.
