Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform cardiac ultrasound and related cardiovascular procedures for inpatients and outpatients. You will operate diagnostic equipment, ensure QA, and relay findings to physicians.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; ARDMS/CCI credential(s) required or within timeframe.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required or within 3 months of hire/transfer.
• Bachelor of Science preferred; two years’ sonography experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain accreditation and perform diverse ultrasound procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac and other diagnostic ultrasound procedures for neonate to geriatric patients.
• Operate sonographic equipment and prepare post-processing of files and reports.
• Communicate findings to physicians and maintain QA and lab operations.
• Assist in maintaining accreditation and ensuring equipment readiness and safety.
