Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS: Basic Life Support credential required.
• ARDMS or CCI specialty credential required within the stated timeframe.
• Associates Degree in Sonography; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in sonography preferred.
• Interpersonal skills and effective communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations according to imaging protocols for neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Performs Tech III-Cardiac core procedures: transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography, and contrast studies.
• Maintains equipment, participates in QA, and supports lab accreditation; provides excellent customer service.
• Records data accurately and communicates findings to physicians and providers.
