Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Cardiac Ultrasound Tech to perform transthoracic and stress echocardiograms. Requires ARDMS RDCS or CCI certification and specialized post‑secondary training equal to two years of college.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., on‑call as needed. You will operate ultrasound equipment, document findings in Epic, assist MDs and students, and contribute to a care‑driven team within the Cardiac Ultrasound unit (cost center 10020-3962).

Qualifications

• Specialized post-secondary training equal to two years of college.
• Registration required by ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI for cardiac specialties.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized or general cardiac ultrasound procedures per departmental protocols.
• Performs ultrasound procedures for Cardiac Ultrasound and other areas as required.
• Operates all ultrasound equipment; records images and prints hard copies (CDs).
• Uses Epic to schedule and complete exams; prepares preliminary reports in Epic.
• Serves as a resource to sonographers, MDs, and students.
