Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is hiring for a Cardiac Ultrasound position in Central Massachusetts. The role performs transthoracic echocardiograms, treadmill and dobutamine stress studies, and other cardiac ultrasound procedures across hospital settings.

The candidate must have specialized post-secondary training (two years) and ARDMS RDCS or CCI credentials for cardiac specialties. Epic is used for scheduling and reporting, and the team includes sonographers, physicians, and students to support

Qualifications

• Specialized post-secondary training equal to two years of college.
• Registration required by ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI for cardiac specialties.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized or general procedures according to departmental protocols.
• Performs ultrasound procedures for cardiac ultrasound and other areas as required.
• Operates all types of ultrasound equipment and records images, dispatching to printers or CDs as needed.
• Uses Epic to schedule and complete exams; completes preliminary Epic reports.
• Serves as a resource to sonographers, MDs, and students.
