Job summary

Pulse Heart Institute, part of MultiCare, seeks a Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist for a per diem, variable shift position covering the hospital in Spokane, WA. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures and support scheduling. The role requires graduation from an ultrasound program or eligibility, ARDMS or CCI registry, and registry within 12 months if pending.

Previous ultrasonography experience is preferred. Current BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ultrasound technology program or be eligible within 6 months.
• Registered or registry eligible with ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• If registry is pending, complete registration within 12 months of employment.
• Previous Ultrasonographer experience preferred.

• Write reports, file, charge and stock rooms with appropriate products.
• Place patient welfare above all other duties in the ultrasound department.

FTE: .01 Per Diem, Shift: Variable, Schedule: Variable

Per-diem position covering the hospital. Normal shift time is 0600-1630

Position Summary

The Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist is a crucial role at MultiCare, performing diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures. Ranging from ultrasound exams, therapeutic or interventional Ultrasound procedures, this position requires independent judgment, initiative and ingenuity.

• You will produce optimum scanning results, using ultrasound as a diagnostic aid and schedule ultrasound appointments
• You will perform various duties to include: writing reports, filing, charging and stocking rooms with appropriate products
• You will place patient welfare above all other duties while the patient remains in the ultrasound department

Requirements

• Graduate or graduation eligible within 6 months a formal ultrasound technology training program
• Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovasular Credentialing International
• If registry pending, must complete appropriate registration within 12 months from date of employment
• Previous experience as an Ultrasonographer preferred
• Current BLS required

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $42.27 - $67.65 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
