Job summary

Pulse Heart Institute, part of MultiCare, seeks a Cardiovascular Technologist to support diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab. You will assist the RN, maintain a safe environment and document Cath Lab activities, working under physician leadership.

The role requires Washington certification, RCIS or equivalent and CPR credentials. Per diem, days, 10 hour shifts, with competitive pay and benefits within a leading cardiovascular program.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification or cardiovascular invasive specialist status.
• RCIS certification or plan to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Current AHA/BLS/ACLS CPR certifications at time of hire.
• CapMC RCIS/Interventional Radiography certification within 2 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities under the Cardiac Cath Lab / EP RN.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe procedure room environment.
• Complete required Cath Lab documentation.
• Assemble, disassemble, and operate specialty equipment.

FTE: .01 Per Diem, Shift: Days, Schedule: 10 hour shifts Mon-Fri

Position Summary

The Cardiovascular Technologist is a crucial role at MultiCare, responsible for providing technical support during a variety of diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures. In this role, you will ensure quality care, with a focus on the comfort and well-being of patient and family. Responsibilities:

• You will perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Registered Nurse
• You will maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment in assigned procedure room
• You will perform required Cath Lab specific documentation
• You will assemble, disassemble, and operate specialty equipment

Requirements

• Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification or as a cardiovascular invasive specialist or currently enrolled in second year of an Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist program or Radiologic Technologist program
• RCIS or commitment to obtain within 6 months of employment
• Current AHA, BLS and ACLS CPR certifications at time of hire; CapMC Locations: RCIS or Cardiac Interventional Radiography certification within 2 years of employment
• Note: All staff have the opportunity and are encouraged to use the Computer Based Cath Lab Orientation 12 week module program as a tool to become registry ready

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $47.25 - $78.07 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
