WVU Medicine Bridgeport is seeking an experienced Cardiac Ultrasound specialist to perform advanced non-invasive imaging in the Cardiac Laboratory. You will prioritize patient scheduling, ensure proper billing, and document results to support timely diagnostics.

The role requires RDCS or RCS certification within 12 months of hire, Medical Imaging program graduation, and BLS certification within 30 days. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this clinical setting.

Qualifications

Graduate of a Medical Imaging program.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) within 12 months of hire.
Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

Perform advanced non-invasive imaging procedures for Cardiac Laboratories.
Handle billing of procedures and prioritize patient scheduling.
Coordinate and prioritize patient scheduling to ensure timely procedure completion.
Obtain procedure information and educate patients about the procedures; maintain courteous conduct.
Document procedures in the patient chart to inform the physician of completion.
Notify staff of significant abnormal findings and maintain data accuracy in EPIC.
