Job summary

UVM Health Network - Central Vermont Medical Center is seeking a Sonographer to join our Radiology Team in a welcoming environment with a strong commitment to teamwork and cross-training opportunities.

The Sonographer performs a variety of routine, complex and highly technical ultrasound procedures that require independent judgment and initiative, under the supervision of the Radiologist and Ultrasound Supervisor. Monday-Friday, noon-8:30pm with on-call weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved CAHEA/JRCT school of Radiologic Technology, or a two year allied health equivalent.
• ARDMS certified and ARRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine, complex and highly technical ultrasound procedures with independent judgment.
• Work under the Radiology Director, Radiology Manager and Radiologist to diagnose disease.
