The ideal candidate is a Registered Dietitian with CDR eligibility, licensed in the state, and possesses 2+ years of specialty experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice or eligible.
• Specialty certification when required.
• Two years of work experience in the specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for cardiac transplant patients.
• Education: Guide nutrition and lifestyle strategies for long-term wellness for patients, families, staff, and community.
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply latest research in line with policies and facility protocols to ensure high-quality care.
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care and clinical excellence.
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Work with food service management to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support growth of staff and dietetic interns.

Position Details

Salary

Starts at $70,000, negotiable based on experience

Other Forms of Compensation

$2,500 sign-on bonus + $5,000 relocation allowance. Annual coverage of CDR, AND and ASPEN dues.

Job Summary

Make a real impact as a Clinical Dietitian! You’ll provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education for Cardiac Transplant patients, working with a collaborative team of 16 other nutrition professionals to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
