TouchPoint is hiring a Cardiac Transplant Dietitian in Indianapolis, IN. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing medical nutrition therapy for cardiac transplant patients, with inpatient and outpatient components.

The role requires an active Registered Dietitian credential and CDR eligibility, with a focus on evidence-based nutrition care. The position offers a $70,000+ salary with a $2,500 sign-on bonus, $5,000 relocation allowance, and annual coverage of CDR, AND and ASPEN dues.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice or eligible to obtain licensure.
• Two years of work experience in cardiac/transplant nutrition preferred.
• Specialty certification when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy for Cardiac Transplant patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on nutrition plans and lifestyle changes.

Location: TouchPoint at Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis

Setting: 500+ bed, Level 1 Trauma Center

Schedule: Monday - Friday, rotating weekends.

Requirement: Must be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration

Position Details: Become part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team serving patients in pre- and post‑cardiac transplant care. The perfect blend of inpatient critical care and outpatient follow-up. This is an opportunity to make a long‑term impact on patients with complex cardiac needs.

Salary: Starts at $70,000, negotiable based on experience

Job Summary

Make a real impact as a Clinical Dietitian! You’ll provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education for Cardiac Transplant patients, working with a collaborative team of 16 other nutrition professionals to enhance patient outcomes through evidence‑based nutrition care.

What You’ll Do

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long‑term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Evidence‑Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high‑quality, consistent care.
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Specialty certification when required
• Two years of work experience in specialty preferred
