Job summary

Responsibilities

• Adheres to policies, procedures, and safety plans.
• Notifies the nurse of risk factors to ensure patient safety.
• Demonstrates monitoring skills as per telemetry competency checklists.
• Documents and interprets heart rhythm and rate from telemetry recordings.
• Obtains six-second strips and uploads for evaluation.
• Identifies arrhythmias and reports changes to the nurse.
