Job summary

Precision Monitoring in Santa Clara, CA is seeking an EKG Telemetry Monitoring Technician to analyze and interpret cardiac rhythms, document patient events, and provide telephonic support to patients and providers nationwide. You will process real-time EKG data, escalate emergent events promptly, and deliver reports to the appropriate care teams while upholding HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in EKG rhythm interpretation required.
• Must pass a Basic Arrhythmia exam with a score of 85% or higher.
• Nationally recognized certification for cardiac technicians required.
• CCT certification required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Record, document, and interpret EKG monitor data and patient events.
• Monitor and process real-time EKG data for patients and physicians across the U.S.
• Provide telephonic coordination for patient care and emergency protocols.
• Support patients remotely by troubleshooting monitoring devices and recording events.
• Deliver emergent reports promptly to the correct facility or provider.
• Maintain HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.
