Qualifications

• Telemetry experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees cardiac monitoring using the central monitoring station and software systems.
• Prepares, maintains, and interprets telemetry waveform data.
• Documents EKG measurements in patient records by recording heart rates and intervals.
• Performs electrocardiograms with proper electrode placement.
• Observes and interprets cardiac rhythms and documents them in medical records.
• Responds to monitor alarms and communicates changes to nurses or physicians.
