Responsibilities

• Performs cardiac monitoring for telemetry and hard-wire monitored patients, identifying rhythm changes and reporting life-threatening events to medical staff.
• Analyzes, interprets and documents ECG rhythm changes according to guidelines.
• Uses Wave Strip Export to upload rhythms/events to EPIC.
• Monitors pulse oximetry for assigned patients.
• Coordinates and maintains intradepartmental communications and documentation.
