Job summary

The successful candidate will monitor heart rhythms, document events, maintain equipment, and assist in training new staff. This position emphasizes patient safety and collaboration across care teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write to document patient information.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and physical sciences.

Responsibilities

• Telemetry Monitoring: observe monitors and set alarm parameters.
• Obtain baseline ECG strips at shift start.
• Identify dysrhythmias and label/document events with patient data.
• Notify nursing staff of critical findings in a timely manner.
• Edit, mount and label tracings for physician review.
