NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island is seeking a Patient Care Technician / Senior Nursing Attendant for Medicine Telemetry. This part-time, day shift role supports nurses in patient care, safety, and family communication within a busy telemetry unit.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma and training as a PCT/CNA, with CPR/BLS certification. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, ECGs, data collection for quality programs, and ensuring a clean, safe patient environment.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent required; PCT/CNA or related training preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required; online training within 3 months of hire.

Mansioni

• Assists the nurse in patient care and family support.
• Maintains supplies, equipment, and unit environment safety.
• Participates in Quality and Performance Improvement data collection.
• Performs delegated tasks such as phlebotomy and ECG as assigned.
