Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Tech for full-time shifts (36 hours/week) with night coverage. You will provide compassionate patient care, assist with telemetry monitoring, and support a high-performing care team.

This role requires Florida CNA certification, BLS, and solid communication skills. Training and professional growth opportunities are available within a large UHS network.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and have working knowledge of medical terminology
• Completion of formal training program for Certified Nursing Assistants; possesses state CNA Certification
• As of 8/1/2013, job requires a C.N.A. license in the state of Florida. Current employees as of 8/1/2013 in the Patient Care Tech role may be transferred into this updated Patient Care Tech job with current education and experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Possesses good communication skills in order to relate to customers
• Must be able to perform EKG’s
• Computer skills, order entry and ADT function

Responsabilidades

• Performs various customer care activities and related services in the patient care area including monitoring and interpreting cardiac telemetry rhythm strips, receptionist and secretarial duties, and patient care tasks.
• Must be willing to cross train and float to meet the needs of the facility.
