Job summary

BridgePoint Healthcare – Capitol Hill in Washington, DC is seeking a Cardiac Monitor Tech to support medically complex care. This full-time night-shift role involves telemetry monitoring, rhythm recognition, and coordination with the unit to ensure patient safety.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or GED with a Monitor Technician program, BLS, and preferably ACLS. Recent monitor tech experience and rhythm tests are required. Strong teamwork and reliable scheduling are valued assets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with completion of a Monitor Technician program.
• Formal ECG or dysrhythmia class with minimum 20 hours practicum.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Recent monitor technician experience and rhythm recognition exam with 80%+.

Responsibilities

• Recognize normal cardiac rhythm patterns and monitor rhythms using telemetry.
• Identify abnormal variations by monitoring alarms and patient data.
• Review patient information to assess current and prior rhythms.
• Assist unit with administrative duties.
