Job summary
Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician for Cardiac Telemetry to support RN-directed care during the night shift at Edward Hospital. The role requires CPR certification and completion of a nursing assistant program or equivalent clinical experience.
You will assist with essential tasks, ensure patient comfort, and participate in rotating holidays and weekends. The position offers competitive hourly pay, premium pay for shifts, tuition reimbursement,
Qualifications
- CPR certification required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of patient care experience or completion of one nursing clinical rotation
- Completion of care Companion Course within six months if required by department
- Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, prioritization, and ability to follow directions
Responsibilities
- Perform patient care tasks and procedures under RN direction to ensure patient comfort, safety and well-being
- Support nursing staff in daily care plans and patient monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate patient needs to care team
