Job summary

North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview, FL is seeking a Cardiac MedSurg RN for full-time night shifts. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, telemetry monitoring, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cardiac care.

Strong preference for prior cardiac/telemetry experience and active RN licensure. You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, participate in code/team activities, and educate patients and families while adhering to hospital

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.
• RN licensure required to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Strong knowledge of nursing process and patient assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process and standards of practice.
• Assess patients and document findings; report changes promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with the team.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control and ensure patient safety throughout care.
