Job summary

Northwest Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN to join the Telemetry unit for night shifts. This full-time role involves 3 x 12-hour shifts per week with self-scheduling options, in a fast-paced environment caring for a 6-patient telemetry floor.

The RN will deliver patient-centered care, administer medications, monitor vital signs and EKG data, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. ACLS/BLS certified; ACS training provided during onboarding, with opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• RN licensure required for practicing nursing.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or in process.
• Experience in telemetry/acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Document patient care accurately in medical records.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge needs.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Engage in performance improvement and audits.
