MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking an Acute Care RN for a 12-hour night shift on a cardiac telemetry unit. The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation assistance based on experience.

New graduates can expect structured VAD training after six months, with experienced nurses receiving VAD training after orientation. Responsibilities include safe, effective patient care, collaboration with the care team, and supporting patients and families through the care journey.

Formación

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Current Iowa RN license required
• American Heart Association BLS required
• ACLS required for units with telemetry monitoring
• Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire
• Basic computer skills

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for varying acuity.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team and support patients and families.
• Provide safe, compassionate care on 12-hour night shift in a cardiac telemetry unit.

Registered Nurse license

BLS certification

ACLS (Telemetry)

Mandatory Reporter training
