Job summary

Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital in Missouri is seeking an RN to join a 31-bed Cardiac/Telemetry/Stroke/Neuro unit on the night shift. This role supports the BJC RN Career Ladder, focusing on professional development and patient care at the top of the license.

You will provide direct patient care, educate families, collaborate with the interprofessional team, and document care plans while ensuring safety and quality. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Nursing diploma or associate degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on illness, home care needs and medications.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements and documents plans of care with defined goals with the team.
• Ensures the plan of care is communicated across the continuum of care.
