Qualifications
- State RN license required; BLS on hire; ACLS within 30 days.
- ACLS within 30 days after hire; BSN preferred.
- Ventilator management experience desired.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' conditions, including vital signs and cardiac rhythms, to craft care plans.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and vitals using telemetry equipment.
- Communicate changes in condition to physicians with diagnostic results.
- Administer medications, including IVs, and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Provide hands-on care, wound care, treatments, ADLs, and emotional support.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, meds, and self-care.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status and coordinate with physicians.
- Deliver safe patient care following the nursing process.
