Job summary

Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, KS seeks a Registered Nurse for a PRN Cardiac Services Telemetry role. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team, following state standards and the Assess/Perform/Teach/Manage model.

You will assess patients, document care, administer medications, and educate patients and families to ensure understanding and safe follow-up.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of start date.
• BLS certification required.
• (RN) Registered Nurse credential.
• Bachelor's/Associate/Diploma in Nursing or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's condition on admission and on each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer medications and document care, monitoring therapeutic responses.
• Respond to patient requests, anticipate needs and resolve issues.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, meds and follow-up.
