Job summary

The Guthrie health system seeks a Registered Nurse to provide professional, comprehensive care in an acute care environment. You will deliver coordinated, safe and evidence-based nursing care to patients and families, in line with state regulations and ANA standards.

We require current RN licensure in the state of employment; BSN preferred; BLS mandatory; ACLS/PALS depending on unit. At least one year of RN experience or participation in an NLRN pathway is expected.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• BSN in Nursing preferred.
• Any contract with specific time frames for obtaining a bachelor’s degree in nursing will supersede.
• Specialty Certification is preferred.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS is unit dependent.
• PALS is unit dependent.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patients' care.
• Develop updates and coordinates the patients' plan of care to achieve patient goals and to optimize outcomes.
• Advocates for ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning.
• Fosters learning for patients/families, nursing, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Aligns practice with safety and quality; uses data and evidence to improve outcomes.
• Engages in ongoing professional development and promotes evidence-based practice.
• Demonstrates leadership as a change agent and coordinates care with colleagues.
