Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges to practice in the relevant state(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• Telehealth/virtual modality practice requires licensure in the client location state(s).

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures timely, accurate documentation in the EHR.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocol; may float to other units as needed.
