Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where services are provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Telehealth/virtual modalities require licensure in client location states.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to clinical protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
