Job summary

Northwest Medical Center Tucson is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Telemetry unit. This full-time daytime 3x12 hour shift role offers self-scheduling and a fast-paced environment focused on high-quality, safe patient care for a 6-patient team.

ACLS certified with Basic EKG training provided; responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians and staff to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• 1+ years of RN experience preferred.
• ACLS and Basic Life Support required; ACLS certification may be facility-specific.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in telemetry units.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist in procedures and respond to medical emergencies as part of the code team.
• Document care and maintain clinical records accurately and timely.
• Promote patient safety through infection control and compliant practices.
