Job summary

Advocate Health Care’s 9 South Cardiac Telemetry Unit is a 44-bed unit delivering specialized care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3–4:1 enabled by telemetry monitoring.

As a skilled RN, you will provide direct patient care, coordinate the nursing process, and focus on early detection, rapid intervention, and patient education in collaboration with cardiologists and a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and safety.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state you practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality cardiovascular care.
