Job summary

The Patient Care Technician in Cardiac Medical Telemetry at Endeavor Health in Glenview, IL, works full time on the night shift with rotating weekends, 36 hours per week under RN/LPN supervision to deliver compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, supporting safe patient handling, taking vital signs, and aiding with admissions, discharges and transports while maintaining hospital procedures.

Qualifications

• CNA training completion preferred.
• At least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors, answer call lights and phones, and perform hourly rounding.
• Assist with ambulation and safe handling using proper equipment.
• Provide basic nursing care such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and positioning under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with admissions, discharge, transfers and room orientation.
