Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read/write and perform basic 4 function math.
• Desire to help people and/or aspiration to becoming a healthcare professional.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and assist with daily activities.
• Record and report vital signs, intake and output.
• Assist with room service, meal setup and feeding.
• Provide personal care under RN supervision.
• Perform basic clinical tasks independently or under supervision as trained.
• Report unusual observations to the nurse.
