Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Beverly, MA is seeking a Patient Care Technician for Cardiac Telemetry. This 24-hour-per-week role operates on the evening shift with every other weekend and rotating holidays, under the supervision of an RN.

The PCT provides basic patient care, comfort, and safety as part of a multi-skilled team. Responsibilities include vital signs, measuring height/weight, oxygen saturation, assisting with meals, recording intake/output, and documenting observations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read/write and perform basic math.
• Desire to help people and pursue healthcare goals.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge is helpful.
• BLS certification due within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and assist with daily activities.
• Monitor vital signs and report unusual observations.
• Assist with meals and room service as needed.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under RN supervision.
• Record intake/output and help ensure patient comfort.
